Hemerocallis 'Calico Jack' (Daylily) - 1 Gallon Potted Perennial
2 left in stock
Hemerocallis 'Calico Jack' (Daylily) is a compact, evergreen perennial boasting a profusion of large, bright yellow flowers, 5.5 in. across (14 cm), adorned with a plum eyezone and green throat. Blooming from early to mid summer, the attractive blossoms are held neatly above its compact mound of arching, linear leaves. Each flower typically lasts no more than 24 hours (thus the common name 'Daylily'), opening up in the morning and withering during the forthcoming night, possibly replaced by another one on the same scape (flower stalk) the next day. One plant can bear up to 25 flower buds for a long lasting display. This early midseason tetraploid daylily is excellent for mass plantings, erosion control and perennial borders.
