Hemerocallis 'Canadian Border Patrol' (Reblooming Daylily) is a compact, semi-evergreen perennial boasting a profusion of large, creamy-white flowers, 6 in. across (15 cm), adorned with a purple eyezone and purple edges above green throat. Blooming in early to mid summer, and again later during the season, the attractive blossoms are held neatly above a compact mound of arching, linear leaves. Each flower typically lasts no more than 24 hours (thus the common name 'Daylily'), opening up in the morning and withering during the forthcoming night, possibly replaced by another one on the same scape (flower stalk) the next day. This reblooming early midseason tetraploid daylily is excellent for mass plantings, erosion control and perennial borders.
