Clematis Vancouver ‘Fragant Star’ has a vanilla fragrance unique for a large flowered clematis. The large, clear white, star shaped flowers have striking red tipped stamens. Flowers will bloom in mid to late spring and rebloom in late summer or early fall. It is a cross between ‘Capitaine Thuilleaux’ and ‘Blue Ravine’.  The Vancouver series was bred in the Fraser Valley and offers a wide range of top performing cultivars in a variety of colours that will bloom three times each season.
