Green Mountain Boxwood (Buxus 'Green Mountain') - 2 Gallon Potted Shrub
3 left in stock
Green Mountain Boxwood has green foliage. The small round leaves remain green throughout the winter. Green Mountain Boxwood is a dense multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a more or less rounded form. It lends an extremely fine and delicate texture to the landscape composition which can make it a great accent feature on this basis alone. This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and can be pruned at anytime. It is a good choice for attracting bees to your yard, but is not particularly attractive to deer who tend to leave it alone in favor of tastier treats. Green Mountain Boxwood will grow to be about 5 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 3 feet. It tends to fill out right to the ground and therefore doesn't necessarily require facer plants in front. It grows at a slow rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for approximately 30 years.
