Green Mountain Boxwood (spiral form) has green foliage. The small round leaves remain green throughout the winter. Green Mountain Boxwood (spiral form) is a dense multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a narrowly upright and columnar growth habit. It lends an extremely fine and delicate texture to the landscape composition which can make it a great accent feature on this basis alone. This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and can be pruned at anytime. Green Mountain Boxwood (spiral form) will grow to be about 6 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 14 inches. It has a low canopy. It grows at a slow rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for approximately 30 years. This shrub does best in full sun to partial shade. It prefers to grow in average to moist conditions, and shouldn't be allowed to dry out. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. This particular variety is an interspecific hybrid. Green Mountain Boxwood (spiral form) makes a fine choice for the outdoor landscape, but it is also well-suited for use in outdoor pots and containers.
