Grosso Lavernder is known and used all over the world in making perfume as it is highly fragrant. It has a long-lasting bloom from late spring or early summer to late summer displaying abundant, showy, purple flower spikes that contrast beautifully with the silvery grey-green foliage. Its blooms are more richly coloured in the garden and when used for dried flower arrangements, sachets and potpourri. The butterflies and beneficial pollinators will also enjoy the flowers. Excellent as an accent in smaller garden spaces or a solo in containers, or as a low hedge/border or in groupings in larger spaces. Plant it near walkways, decks and patios where its wonderful scent can be enjoyed.
