Among the most popular reblooming Daylilies, multiple award-winner Hemoerocallis 'Stella de Oro' ranks very high. It is compact, vigorous, fragrant and enjoys profuse blooms over an extremely long blooming period. This Minature Daylily produces masses of golden trumpets with ruffled edges and small green throats atop mounds of arching, blade-like leaves. Each flower, up to 2.75 in wide (7cm), lasts at least 16 hrs (extended blooms) but no more than 24 hours, opening up in the morning and withering-during the forthcoming night, possibly replaced by another one on the same scape (flower stalk) the next day. This diploid Dayliliy is dormant. Thrives in full sun or part sun.
