Hosta 'Stained Glass' (Plantain Lily) is a medium-sized perennial forming an overlapping mound of slightly convex, widely oval, bright golden-yellow leaves with irregular dark green margins and prominent veining. Large, pale purple, tubular flowers adorned with darker stripes appear in the summer, rising on scapes 30 in. long (75 cm). A very eye-catching hosta for specimen planting, this sport of "Guacamole' is also suitable for planting in mixed containers.
