Burgess Buttercup Squash Seeds (Winter Type) Heirloom Vegetable. Smaller fruit 1.5-2.0 kg (3.3-4.4 lbs) in weight with thick, fibreless, orange, sweet tasting flesh is the trademark of this variety. The skin is dark green with narrow grey stripes and slight mottling. Strong growing vines that varies in shape. It seems growing conditions sometimes produce boxy shaped fruits and at other times they can be similar in shape to an acorn. An interesting looking, very richly flavoured squash.
