Heirloom Herb. Dill seeds produce a plant that is a must-have for flavouring pickles and vinegar, as well as for salads, fish, vegetable and egg dishes. Mammoth Dill seeds produce a pretty plant with lacy foliage growing from 60-75 cm (2-2.5′) high in the garden. Dill is one of the easiest herbs to grow and can readily self-seed, assuming of course you leave any of the seed heads on the plant! Dill is also used to attract beneficial insects such as lacewings, lady bugs, hover flies and parasitic wasps to the garden.
