A dwarf and compact garden phlox, Phlox paniculata Flame Purple Eye is a showy herbaceous perennial with large clusters of intense magenta-purple flowers adorned with a white eye. Blooming for weeks from mid to late summer, the fragrant flowers are rich in nectar and visited by hummingbirds and butterflies.
