'Bonfire' is a small evergreen shrub with variegated leaf continously changing throughout the year and may produce white, pink, or red flowers in early spring. A compact slow growing evergreen shrub. Superb deep burgundy red young growths fading through to green in summer. Creamy-white lily-of-the-valley like flowers are produced in April. Requires a moist but well drained acid soil, best in a sheltered position.
