Wellington Black Currant is an old, well-established cultivar known for its robust growth and reliable fruit production. It typically forms a medium to large bush, growing to a height of 4 to 5 feet (125-150 cm) and spreading about the same width. 'Wellington' produces medium to large clusters of black berries that ripen from mid-July to early August.
